“Epic Rides, Epic Service”

This is a great company in every way. I'm an expat living in Kathmandu and have travelled with these guys, shopped at their bike shop (Epic Mountain Bike), and had their service department repair my bike. I can't say enough good things about the way this company treats not only its customers but its employees and community as well. I have done day rides in Kathmandu, shuttled rides around the valley, and several multi day trips in Mustang. Despite Nepal's many infrastructure issues, this company bends over backwards to keep everything running smoothly. Their guides do all of the basic stuff very well, but that isn't what impresses me the most about them. It's when a customer gets a flat tire and they immediately jump in to change it. It's the way they humbly and politely interact with the hotel owners and local people on the trail. Spending much time with these guys it quickly becomes apparent that they are in a league of their own. A league that serves, loves, and cares for everyone in their sphere of influence, and that as a corporate culture, is priceless. Definitely check these guys out.

“Well supported MTB rides”

We booked an 11 day MTB trip in Nepal covering mostly the Lower Mustang region with a few rides in Pokhara and one in Kathmandu. We had two guides along for the ride and a coordinator back in Kathmandu, and they were all very good at adapting to changing weather situations and accommodating our requests. For instance, the bikes traveled overland on our support vehicle from Kathmandu to Jomsom while we were scheduled to fly by plane from Kathmandu to Pokhara to Jomsom. However, there was an avalanche that blocked the main route, so they improvised and arranged for porters to carry our bikes past the avalanche sections. They also had to arrange for other vehicles to support us from Jomsom onwards as our main support vehicle from Kathmandu was not able to make it through the avalanche site. So when we arrived at Jomson, our bikes were there waiting for us! And when some of us fell ill, the guides arranged for us to drop out part way and get ferried to the end point for the day. The accommodation provided as pretty good and so was the food. Overall, we felt that they took really good care that we would have an enjoyable and incident free trip. Highly recommended.

“Best bike shop in Kathmandu with professional services. ”

We booked a day trip downhill ride from Nagarkot to Bhaktapur. The team of EPIC are experts on what they do and we were amazed by the guided service provided by the team. The hired bikes were high specd Commencal, well maintained just to give us smooth rides. Overall I highly recommend Epic Rides Nepal for any biking trips whilst you're in Nepal or planning to visit.

Our group are 7 people from Johor Bahru, Malaysia, we have 2-rides with Epic Rides Nepal. One is in the Kathmandu valley, it was fantastic & fun, We was having beautiful view of those villages & kids, suspension bridge & the mountain range. We really keep stop by & taking photos as those view really wonderful.
Another ride is quite a tough ride to Nagarkot, need some stamina for uphill all the way to the summit. But all of us made it, it was amazing especially we ride to the summit, thanks to our guide: Sakun & Denish, I was the last one to reach the summit, Sakun accompany me all the way to the summit, thanks to him. Thanks to Sandeep also, he is patient to answer all our question & explain to us about the route. The meals are super-nice, we love it...! Our Nepal trip is super-fun because of the ride!

I got the pleasure to go on several rides with Rupesh and his staff at Epic Rides Nepal. Most in and around Kathmandu but one longer ride on the Annapurna circuit. Amazing country, helpful staff, friendly and always looking to have a good time. Well planned out routes and guided by the best riders in the region.

Hands down the best bike shop in Kathmandu (and I have been to all of them) to give you the support base you will need for an excursion.

Cannot say enough good things about my many rides with this crew!

If you are looking for a touring company that is just as passionate about Mountain Biking as you are, that will bring to you to the greatest trails and most scenic places you can imagine, and provides excellent equipment in case you can't bring your own bike, this is your place.
I explored Kathmandu Valley for three days with Dinesh (a great rider, guide and professional bike mechanic) of Epic Rides and a Commencal Meta AM I rented in their shop and had an awesome time. As I didn't bring a helmet or clip-in shoes or pedals, the guys helped me out, and even showed me the narrow back alleys of old Kathmandu one evening, which was very enriching.
The tours were very well planned, perfectly organized and absolutely mindblowing. Besides that, everyone in this company, from CEO to mechanic, is passionate about Mountain Biking, and super friendly. I came as a customer and left as a friend. I'd seriously come back to Nepal just to see you guys again and go for a ride! Thank you so much Epic Rides for this unforgettable experience!
