Pokhara Valley

Pokhara Valley is the second-largest valley in the hilly region of Nepal. It lies in the western part of the Nepal. The cities of Pokhara and Lekhnath are in the valley. It is located in the Gandaki zone, 203 kilometres (126 mi) west of Kathmandu Valley. The city of Pokhara is one of the major cities of Nepal, and like Kathmandu Valley. The city is located at an altitude of 727 meters to 980 meters and approximately 200 km west of the country's capital, Kathmandu. Three out of the ten highest mountains in the world — Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I and Manaslu — are within 50 km of the city.
